Colored-Diamonds.com prides itself on selling top quality jewelry that should meet or exceed your expectations. However, if you are not completely satisfied, we are please to offer a 30 day return policy on all purchases.

 

To return or exchange an item, simply:

 

1. Call Susan with Colored-Diamonds.com at (573) 216-6292 to obtain a return authorization number.

 

2. Secure your item(s) and all the original packing materials, including a copy of Colored-Diamonds.com invoice, packing slip and any certificates if appropriate, in a plainly wrapped cardboard box (the post office has these available if you do not).

 

3. Send the package by FedEx if the value of the item(s) being returned is less than $500. If the item(s) being returned is more than $500 Priority Registered Mail is the safest way to ship high-value items as FedEx and UPS will NOT insure goods over $500. For your protection, please insure the package for the full amount of the invoice plus shipping charges. For returns of over $500 from the outside the US, please contact a 3^rd Party insurance company to arrange coverage. Also request a return receipt to ensure the shipment is tracked.*

4. Clearly print your name and address on the outside of the package in the return area along with your return authorization code.

Please be careful: You should NOT write Colored-Diamonds.com, jewelry, diamonds or other luxury-related words anywhere on the package, as this invites possible theft of the package.

 

Condition of Return

 

Returns are simple, but subject to certain rules:

 

1. Packages without a return authorization number will not be accepted for refund.

 

2. The item MUST be received at Colored-Diamonds.com WITHIN THE SPECIFIED DAYS from the date of shipment of the order from Colored-Diamonds.com. Any items received after the specified days from the shipment date will not be accepted for refund.

 

3. Each item must be returned in the same condition as it was sent, unworn and undamaged. Master Jeweler tests all items for any damages. Damaged goods due to client negligence will not be accepted for refund.

 

4. If the item is a diamond, the original gemological laboratory certificate that was issued with the diamond needs to be returned as well. This is very important. The diamond certificate has a $200 replacement fee. If the certificate is not returned, the cost of replacing it WILL be charged.

 

5. If the item is a gift, it is important the authorization number be written on the Colored-Diamonds.com address label. As with any purchase, the gift recipient may exchange the item for equal value.

 

Additional Notes

 

1. Custom jewelry or special orders CANNOT be returned, refunded, or exchanged.

 

2. All products brought through clearance CANNOT be returned, refunded, or exchanged.

 

3. Colored-Diamonds.com will refund the full cost of the item EXCLUDING shipping, handling and insurance charges. Refunds will be made in the same form as the original purchase.

 

4. If an item is returned due to error in shipping address entered by the customer, an additional charge of $25 will be charged. No shipping address can be changed once shipped.

 

Return Time

 

All requests will be processed after our Master Jeweler inspects and verifies the condition of the item. Returns take approximately five to seven business days to process upon receipt of the item.

 

Again, please return every item WITHIN THE SPECIFIED DAYS FOLLOWING THE INVOICE DATE with all of its original materials. Any pieces missing will delay return and may cause you to go past return date. If you have any questions, contact Susan.
